What I’m thankful for

As I look back on this crazy year we’ve had, it’s hard not to be thankful for all of the friendships in my life. In a year that made us all feel so distant, and isolation became a norm, it’s important for me to take a minute to thank everyone who stuck around. I’ve been blessed to have such a great support system who have supported me in every crazy idea that I’ve had--like starting a wine subscription box during a pandemic!

Last year, when we started the Italian Tour, while it was a nerve-wracking experience, I had no doubt in my mind that it was going to be a success. Everyone on our team has the passion, the knowledge, and the contacts on the ground in Italy to make something amazing happen. And people started to take note. From the moment we launched our site and social media, the emails and phone calls started rolling in. We had people calling from all over the USA who wanted to be a part of our tour. But as we all know, the unthinkable happened and suddenly all of our big plans for 2020 were dashed.

While this hectic time has shown me some of the true ugly in humanity, it’s also shown me some of the extreme remarkability that is within all of us. From everyone on my team at The Italian Cellar, to every client who had to reschedule their plans, they have all demonstrated an adaptability and a hopefulness for tomorrow that has been a guiding light for me during this period. And for that, I thank you all.

If you are looking for a festively informative way to countdown to Christmas in style, then check out our holiday curation! Happy Holidays from the Italian Cellar!
